Senior Associate, Executive Search
As a Senior Associate, you are responsible for directing day-to-day search execution, upholding our brand promise, and demonstrating the rigor, mastery, and full comprehension needed to inspire client confidence. As the Slate Builder, you will partner with and mentor Researchers, set a comprehensive research strategy, and thoroughly vet candidates to ensure each search has the curated slate needed to lead to a successful close.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Health: Monitor search-specific metrics to expertly gauge the current and future health of the candidate pipeline; effectively respond to early-warning signs or spec changes to maintain healthy searches; drive candidate movement through effective outreach and compelling communication.
- Research Strategy: Cascade the search strategy into a specific, targeted, multi-pronged research strategy to identify the applicable candidate universe for each mandate; lead and support search team members to deliver on this strategy.
- Initial/Deep Dive Interviews: Ensure every candidate sent to the Slate Owner has been fully vetted for spec/compensation alignment and deeply vetted for sponsor/opportunity fit and PE capability.
- Client Deliverables: Own the process to ensure all client documents are accurate, thorough, timely, and professional.

- 5+ years of experience in executive search is required

Additional Information
- This is a remote role (within the US) with required travel 1-2x per year.

- Business hours are M-F, 9-5 EST. Expected workload for this role of 50-60 hours per week. Work during evenings or weekends is sometimes required.

Associate, Executive Search
Associates are a lynch pin to our success. They make a meaningful impact on FALCON’s ability to execute retained searches at a world class level. In this role, Associates have the opportunity to help shape the leadership teams of dynamic companies.
The Position
This role is focused on supporting executive talent recruiting. As part of a team, you will work closely with Analysts, other Associates, VPs, Principals and Partners on search consulting engagements, including candidate identification, candidate recruitment, candidate assessment, and client support.
The right person for this role will be excited to support the team by:
- Sourcing executive-level candidates for high-impact search mandates
- Utilizing industry databases, such as LinkedIn, Capital IQ, and Pitchbook
- Reaching out to, recruiting, and phone screening C-level candidates
- Contributing to operational improvement initiatives
- Presenting candidates to Board of Director clients
